San Diego Gaslamp Quarter

In 1974, the City of San Diego began renovating this historic downtown district, which is only 10 miles from Best Western Otay Valley. The Buel-Town Company Building and Pacific Hotel were the first to be given extreme makeovers. Six years later, the revitalized section was placed on the National Register of Historic Places. All visitors are welcomed to the Gaslamp Quarter by the iconic neon archway.
